Wilson Defy Pro V1 2025 specifications

Who is the Defy Pro V1 for?

For advanced or professional players who play at the net, look to finish the point and have the technique to handle 370 g with a high balance. If you want the same shape with a little less weight, look at the Defy V1 (365 g) or the Defy LS V1 (355 g). For beginners it is too demanding.

Strengths

• Power: a diamond shape and high balance, around 26.5 cm, for smashing.
• A carbon C2 Tubular Construction frame and 15K carbon face for a solid hit.
• Spin: the Spin2 rough texture helps you work the ball on bandejas and víboras.

Things to consider

• At 370 g with a high balance it calls for arm and technique; it can be tiring in long matches.
• As a diamond, its sweet spot is smaller than a round racket’s.

Defy Pro V1 or Defy V1: what sets them apart?

They share the diamond shape, Power Foam core, Spin2 texture and Impact Beam structure. The Defy Pro V1 has a 15K carbon face and weighs 370 g; the Defy V1 uses 3K carbon and comes in at 365 g, making it a little more accessible.

How big is the Defy Pro V1?

According to Wilson, it is 455 mm long with a 490 cm² head.
