Who is the Defy LS V1 for?

For intermediate and advanced players who want the attacking character of a diamond racket with less weight on the arm. It can be a good step for players who are starting to attack more. If you want a carbon face and more mass behind the ball, look at the Defy V1 or Defy Pro V1.

Strengths

• Light: 355 g, the lowest weight in the Defy V1 line.
• Comfort Flex face: flexible glass fibre instead of carbon.
• Same mould: 455 mm long with a 490 cm² head, according to Wilson, like the Defy Pro V1.

Things to consider

• Being lighter, it puts less mass behind the ball than the 365–370 g versions.
• It is still a head-heavy diamond, so it needs some technique.
