A special thermal compartment provides reliable protection against heat and cold, preventing the deformation of internal materials. This is critically important for preserving the playing properties of EVA foam, which loses elasticity during sudden temperature fluctuations.

A standard professional bag (paletero) is usually designed for 2–3 rackets, for which special side compartments are provided. More compact models or backpacks hold only one racket, while large XL bags can have a number of compartments sufficient to store up to 4–6 units.
