HEAD Speed Motion 2025 specifications

Who is the Speed Motion 2025 for?

For advanced players who switch between defence and attack and want a quick racket with some head weight to finish points. It is a good alternative if the Speed Pro feels heavy. For maximum power, look at a diamond from the Extreme series; beginners will find a lighter, softer racket easier.

Strengths

• Speed: 355 g, 15 g less than the Speed Pro 2025.
• Direct feel: according to HEAD, it gives a direct impact feel with a medium feel.
• Versatility: a teardrop shape and high balance for defending and smashing.

Things to consider

• Smooth surface: less help with spin than rough faces.
• The high balance asks a little more of the wrist than a medium-balance teardrop.

HEAD Speed Motion or Speed Pro 2025: which one?

Both are teardrops with a 270 mm high balance, Hybrid Woven faces, a Power FOAM core and a medium feel. The Speed Motion weighs 355 g and is the quicker one; the Speed Pro weighs 370 g, adds Damp Plus and has a 38 mm profile for more stability. Choose the Motion if arm speed comes first.

What's special about the Speed Motion 2025 design?

According to HEAD, its paint has a double effect that changes with the reflections of the light.
