Head Coello Junior 2026

The Head Coello Junior 2026 is the junior racket inspired by Arturo Coello: an oversized teardrop shape, 310 g and a medium 265 mm balance. It is made for children and young players who are starting out or already training at a padel school and want a light, soft racket with a large sweet spot.

Head Coello Junior 2026 specifications

Who is the Head Coello Junior 2026 for?

It suits young players who can already complete the swing and want to move up to a full 38 mm profile without overloading the arm. The 525 cm² head forgives off-centre hits and the fibreglass faces give easy ball exit. For very small children, something shorter and lighter is better; for strong teenagers, a lightweight adult racket.

Strengths and things to consider

Strengths

• Large sweet spot: the 525 cm² oversized head and the tubeless Tailored Frame give plenty of margin on off-centre hits.
• Comfort: at 310 g with fibreglass faces, it reduces arm and wrist fatigue during long training sessions.
• Durability: the IPS protector built into the mould and the Innegra structure help it withstand knocks against the floor and walls.

Things to consider

• Little spin: the smooth, untextured surface gives direct contact but grips the ball less on slices and bandejas.
• Full profile: its 38 mm beam and medium balance can feel demanding for very young or less strong children.

Coello Junior compared with AT10 Genius JR 2026 and One Ultralight Black 2025

The NOX AT10 Genius JR 2026 weighs 300–325 g but is round, with a slimmer 30 mm profile, a carbon frame, a soft HR3 core and a matt finish. Choose it for smaller children who need control and a more compact racket; the teardrop Coello Junior with its 38 mm beam offers more punch.

The Head One Ultralight Black 2025 is a 300 g adult racket, round, with the same 265 mm balance, 12K carbon faces, Comfort Foam and a rough surface. It is the logical next step for teenagers who want more spin and a firmer feel; the Coello Junior stays softer and easier.

Questions about the Head Coello Junior 2026

How much does the Head Coello Junior 2026 weigh?

Head lists 310 g, well below the adult rackets in the Coello collection. That weight, combined with a medium 265 mm balance, lets young players move the racket quickly at the net without straining the wrist.

Is it the same racket Arturo Coello uses?

No. Coello plays with the Head Coello Pro, a heavier adult racket built for power. The junior version shares the look but uses fibreglass, an oversized head and less weight to suit young players.
