Bullpadel Hack 05 Hybrid 27 specifications

Who is the Bullpadel Hack 05 Hybrid 27 for?

It suits you if you play mostly from the back, defend with lobs and wall exits and want a very quick racket at the net. Its 365–375 g call for a trained arm and good technique. If the smash is your main weapon, a high-balance diamond racket will serve you better; beginners should choose something lighter.

Strengths and things to consider

Strengths

• Manoeuvrability: the balance of about 25 cm and the Air Power and ExoAir channels let you move the racket very quickly at the net.
• Comfort: the 18K aluminised carbon, the MultiEVA core and the Vibradrive system filter vibration on off-centre hits.
• Spin: the rough 3D Grain finish grips the ball and helps you slice bandejas, víboras and wall exits.

Things to consider

• Less punch overhead: the low balance takes power away from the smash compared with the diamond-shaped Hack 05.
• Demands skill: at 365–375 g and with a professional build, it is not a racket to start with.

Hack 05 Hybrid 27 compared with Vertex 05 Hybrid 27 and Vertex 05 27

The Vertex 05 Hybrid 27 shares the hybrid shape, the 365–375 g weight and a balance of about 25 cm, but uses X-Tend Carbon 12K faces, a medium feel and a Top Spin finish, and Bullpadel positions it for all-round play. Choose the Hack 05 Hybrid if you defend more and like a soft feel; the Vertex if you want more response.

Juan Tello's Vertex 05 27 switches to a diamond shape, with a balance of about 25.5 cm, a medium feel and 12K carbon: an all-round racket with more presence in attack. Choose the Vertex 05 if you smash often and want a balance of control and power; the Hack 05 Hybrid if defence and manoeuvrability come first.
