The Babolat Air Veron 2.6 is the friendlier version of the Air range: it shares the 355 g weight and 265 mm balance of the Air Viper 2.6, but uses Carbon Flex faces (carbon and fibreglass) and a Black EVA core. It is designed for intermediate and advanced players who want an all-round racket that is easy to move.

Who is the Air Veron 2.6 for?
For intermediate or advanced players with an all-round game who prioritise manoeuvrability and comfort. The medium feel and 265 mm balance make it comfortable in long matches. If you want more response at the same weight, the Air Viper 2.6 is the option; for pure control, a round racket from the Counter range.
Strengths
- Manoeuvrable: 355 g and a medium 265 mm balance.
- Forgiving: Carbon Flex and Black EVA give a medium feel, gentler than the Air Viper.
- Comfort: Vibrabsorb System² anti-vibration, powered by SMAC.
Things to consider
- Less responsive and explosive than the 16K carbon Air Viper 2.6.
- With a medium balance it is not the ideal choice for players who mainly want to smash.
What changes from the previous version?
According to Tennis Warehouse, the 2.6 update is mainly cosmetic compared with the previous Air Veron.
Air Veron 2.6 or Air Viper 2.6?
Same weight, shape and balance. The Air Veron has Carbon Flex and Black EVA and is more comfortable; the Air Viper uses 16K carbon and X-EVA, more responsive and for advanced players.
